Information on the European Wood Initiative

The German Timber Promotion Fund is part of the European Wood Initiative marketing cooperation. The initiative that is supported by timber marketing institutions from Germany, France, Norway, Austria and Sweden aims to attract attention to modern and high-quality timber products from Europe in the two focal markets of China and Japan. An expert dialogue is also maintained on various technical and normative questions of timber usage in the construction industry with the involvement of the European Commission. The initiative will also step up its efforts in India in future.
